1. Health and Safety in the Workshop
2. Select, use, and care for hand and power tools
3. Workshop equipment
4. Measuring instruments and Gauges (engine miking included)
5. Motor vehicle technology
6. Removal and replacement of a vehicle engine.
7. Overhauling of a vehicle engine.
8. Assess components according to specifications

THOSE WHO CAN NOT AFFORD THE FEES FOR A FULL QUALIFICATION CAN DO THESE SHORT INTENSIVE PRACTICAL PROGRAMS.
▶️1. cylinder head removal and assembly procedures. (5 days, R5000)
▶️2. Engine overhaul and measuring (5 days, R5000)
▶️3. Battery servicing (5 days, R5000)
▶️4. Basic auto electrical testing of charging/starting systems (10 days, R7000)
▶️5. Ignition systems (5 days, 5000)
▶️6. Vehicle braking systems inspection and repair (5 days, R5000)
▶️7. Learn how to clear codes using a diagnostic tool (2 days, R3000)
▶️8. Learn how to disassemble, assess, and reassemble a manual gear box (5 days, R5000
NB: Certificate of competence issued at end of course.

REQUIREMENTS:

▶️3. Identification/ asylum, passport : A valid national identity document (ID) or passport.

▶️6. Eye Protection: Clear, impact-resistant safety glasses for drilling, grinding, and under-vehicle work
▶️7. Gloves: Nitrile gloves for chemical protection and mechanic work gloves for heat/abrasion resistance
▶️8. Medically fit (have a medical certificate)
